Auke Rec Engagement Session | Rhys + Grant

A Christmas eve engagement — Sounds like a hallmark movie but I’m going with it.

Rhys and Grant are the absolute sweetest! These two, like myself, grew up in Juneau Ak, and happen to keep up the tradition of visiting home for the holidays every year. I was so happy to hear that we would be able to fit in their engagement session into my time back home! It turned out that Christmas eve morning worked best with both of our schedules and the weather agreed because we were blessed with the most epic snow fall the night before!

For this session we headed out to Auke Rec, a beautiful rocky beach in Juneau and we had an amazing time! There was lots of laughter, running around, and cuddles (for cuteness and necessity). They were down for anything I suggested, even when I asked them to end our session sitting in the snow!

Their love for each other is so apparent and I cannot wait to shoot their wedding this next summer!
